Directed by Leigh Silverman, this 1989 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama will be one you won’t want to miss. The story is about Heidi’s role in society as a successful art historian in the 80’s after growing up in the 70’s with the influence of feminism and 60’s with the influence of radicalism.

The story is meant to make the audience relate in the struggles of achieving happiness and making sense of the world. The director has won a Tony Award this year as well for another work, so you know she did well with the Heidi Chronicles. It will last about 2 and one half hours.

Hello Dolly is the story of a matchmaker living in New York City that is trying to match up a millionaire with a hat maker and instead finds herself a match. This musical is a wonderful story with a twist ending. It has won seven Academy Awards as a movie and has been revived on Broadway multiple times. The show will open September 5th.

The Tony Award winning musical Rent is coming to Rochester. It’s one of the longest running shows on Broadway. It’s a story about poor artists in New York City trying to get by with various struggles. The show will be September 12th through October 5th.
