Many musicians have played at 7th Street Entry which gave their career a start. The location supports local artists by giving them the floor every night of the week. They’ve helped local acts gain fame such as The Replacements, Semisonic and Atmosphere. National musicians used the club as a stepping stone for their career, including The Ramones, U2, Eminem, Prince and Metallica.

Writers & Politics

In addition to being a music club, First Avenue & 7th Street Entry caters to writers and artists as well as political events. Writers have received their first chance at publication with the original First Avenue in House magazine. They used this platform to interview acts, design original art and add photography. Politicians have used the club as a soapbox when running for office and youth rallies have been held here.

There are many upcoming shows to check out this month. December 18th will feature Soul Asylum at 7th Street Entry. It’s at 7:30 and is fort 18+. Check out Dustin Thomas on December 19th at 7th Street Entry at 8pm. Haerts and Mikky Ekko will perform on December 20th at 8pm for 18+. Radio K will present SUZIE Tour Kickoff with other performers on the 27th at 8pm.
