Change is Good

RE/MAX“Without change, there would be no butterflies.” I don’t remember who said that, but it sort of describes how I feel right now. I’ve been incubating in somewhat of a cocoon for years and I recently outgrew it.

I am now affiliated with Kris Lindahl Real Estate and I couldn’t be happier. It is something I’ve debated for a while now and making the jump is rather liberating.

As most of my clients know, marketing is my forte. It’s what has propelled me to become the listing leader at my former broker’s office for several consecutive years. It is responsible for my spot on the 2014 REAL Trends/Trulia list of Best Real Estate Agents in America.

I’ve recently tweaked the marketing aspect of my business to focus even more attention on it. After all – that’s what I’m hired for, right? To do what I want to do required more freedom and I’ve found it with Kris Lindahl Real Estate.

RE/MAX is an international real estate company. Why is this important? Real estate sales to foreign buyers and new immigrants surged to new highs over the last year, according to a study conducted by the National Association of Realtors. The Association also said that foreign interest in this country’s real estate is expected to grow even more. This is good news for homeowners hoping to sell their Minnesota home. It’s always good to have an growing buyer pool.

So, RE/MAX’s International Referral Network is an important new tool for my clients.

Finally, the company’s values align with mine. RE/MAX agents have donated more than $123 million to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1992. The company is also a national sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Series. I’ve been told that my dedication to the Homes for Heroes program and my other philanthropic pursuits are welcome and encouraged.

This change offers me – and my clients – additional tools and technology and tremendous networking opportunities.

I get that the logo on the sign isn’t nearly as important as the dedication and expertise of the agent who puts the sign in the ground. I just want to let friends and clients know that the only thing that is changing in this regard is the logo. I’m still all-in. And, truth be known, the logo is pretty cool too!
