Attraction Spotlight: Mill City Museum

What to Do
The museum offers so much to see. When you buy a regular admission ticket you can see the Flour Tower multimedia show, the exhibit gallery, the 9th floor observation deck overlooking St. Anthony Falls and Mississippi River as well as the “Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat” movie. Your whole visit will take at least an hour and a half.
You’ll see things like a Baking Lab and experience the 8-story elevator ride through the exhibit. There are hands on exhibits that kids will love as well. You can take a self-guided tour or a group tour if booked in advance. The “Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat” film will give a lighthearted take on the city’s history. It plays every 30 minutes and is included in your admission ticket.
Before you go, check out the Museum Store. They have gifts, souvenirs, pottery, jewelry and more. The theme of the store is mid-20th century retro.
Admission
Admission is $11 for adults, $9 for seniors and college students, $6 for children and free for children 5 and under.
