Lisa obtained her graphic design degree at Minneapolis Business College and her creative writing diploma at Institute of Children’s Literature. She spent 15 years in the childcare industry working in 20+ homes to provide a distinct, personal touch to families’ lives. She is known to be honest, reliable, thoughtful, and creative. Her background includes personal assistance, accounting assistance, and production coordination for smaller companies. Since 2011, she has volunteered her skills to a non-profit theatre called Urban Spectrum Theatre Company.
Her home life usually includes romancing her significant other (it’s a lifelong journey after all!); reading and writing fan-fiction and comics; playing piano; drawing digital illustrations and comics; staying active; playing games with her family; and finding new indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy.
