Ben Smith

Ben has grown up in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, along with a few years in Ohio in his teens. He learned his work ethic from having lived on a hobby farm caring for chickens, turkeys, cats, dogs & horses and his attention to detail while working at his grandfather's precision machining business. He also applied that work ethic and attention to detail to 20 years in the hospitality industry, serving guests at restaurants and a hotel. Combining these characteristics and his desire to serve led Ben to become a member of Toastmasters International, a non-profit public speaking and leadership organization, culminating in being elected to lead the 2000+ members of District 106 as District Director in 2018-2019. Ben is now applying that drive and his desire to serve to help others find their home solution.
