Construction Underway For New 244-Unit Multi-Family Development in Edina
Construction is officially underway on Edina’s newest large-scale mixed-use development. What will be a four-story, 244-unit multi-family complex once finished, the project will replace the former 94,000 square foot building that was once the headquarters of UnitedHealth Group.
The building site is located at 5901 Lincoln Drive in Edina, which sits just off Highway 169, making it a rather convenient place to consider for anybody who commutes into Minneapolis on a daily or semi-regular basis. According to reports, the new development, which is being headed by Opus Development Company and Founders Properties, will include a wide range of different floor plans that offer up to two-bedrooms and more than enough living space for your typical Twin Cities apartment dweller.
It’s also been mentioned that the new multi-family building will also feature a number of attractive lifestyle amenities, which include underground garage parking, a club room with a full kitchen, a full fitness center, a game and entertainment room, and even an outdoor swimming pool that also has an area for a bocce ball court and a fire pit.
Completion for the new Opus development is scheduled for sometime in the spring of 2018, so we’re still far from seeing how everything takes shape.
