98-Home Amesbury Place Community Approved For Brooklyn Park
CalAtlantic Group, Inc., Minnesota’s second largest home builder, has officially been given the “okay” to build out a new 98-unit mixed use housing community in suburban Brooklyn Park.
According to recent reports, the new community, which will be called Amesbury Place, will sit right along the south side of Highway 610, immediately east of Regent Avenue North. As it stands, the project scope will include 76 attached row-style townhouses that will be built by CalAtlantic Inc., while Plymouth-based True Gravity Ventures is planning to build out the remaining 22 units, which will all be detached single-family homes.
Each of CalAtlantic’s townhouses will feature three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, and range in size from 1,640 to 1,937 square feet. Single-family homes in Amesbury Place will offer a mix of single-level and multi-level floor plans, which will include anywhere from 1,600 and 3,000 square feet, up to five bedrooms, and also have the option to include an in-law apartment, which is a growing trend in residential construction right now.
Should construction go according to plan, the first phase of Amesbury Place should be finished before the end of the year.
